BEAUTY + LIFE CYCLES

Sarina is a Chicago-based teaching artist, visual designer, and budding curator who sometimes writes and makes mixes. Her curatorial practice explores family and home through process-based art(e.g. new media, performance, and installation), printmaking, and cinema.

She uses art as a tool for community world-building and reflection, prioritizing a queer black femme perspective. Long-term interests include cooperative housing, visual communication, black cinema, and skincare.

Jams? This season, reading and resting.

Sarina enjoys meadows and has a deep yearning to adopt a Chow Chow. She is currently available for freelance digital design projects.
